Vesperis Pictish Gin is a premium, small-batch artisanal gin produced by Blackford Craft Distillery, a family-run micro-distillery founded by Neil and Katie Sime in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The gin’s flavour architecture honours the ancient brewing traditions of the Picts, who famously crafted mead using wild Highland heather. The distillery incorporates three foundational, locally sourced Scottish ingredients:

- Ling Heather Blossom & Heather Honey: Handpicked from the slopes of Bennachie, providing a floral back-note and natural, fragrant sweetness.
- Seasonal Apples: Infused to provide a crisp, clean orchard-fruit undertone.
- Organic Core Botanicals: Features traditional juniper, citrus-forward lemon peel, and coriander seeds.
To finish the process, the distillers dilute the spirit using pure, local Aberdeenshire spring water drawn from their own aquifer
