Released in 2014, Glenmorangie, the Taghta, pronounced [Tuh-tah] was the first official ‘crowd-sourced’ whisky. The maturation barrels were decided upon by Glenmorangie’s ‘Cask Masters,’ hence its name which means ‘chosen’ in Gaelic.

Wolfburn 128 is the first in a series of Small Batch releases from the Thurso distillery. Matured in small ex-Bourbon casks that had previously contained peated whisky, giving a delicate smokiness to the whisky. Peated to just 10ppm. Like all Wolfburn small-batch releases, it got its name from the maturation location, warehouse 1, row 28. Just 6000 bottles were produced.
