This is an extremely rare and discontinued one off batch which is very hard to find. ‘Caoran’ (pronounced ku-ran) from the Gaelic for peat ember has a distinct peatiness and a lingering smoky finish.
A rich and softly smoky single malt with subtle notes of orange and peat.
Nose: all the typical Glenfiddich aromas with a subtle smokiness.
Taste: The taste is spicy and develops into a combination of sweet fruit with distinctive peaty notes.
Finish: A smooth and lingering finish.
