GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Premier Cru Classe Wine Cask Finish
The GlenAllachie Wine Series was expertly matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, with each whisky then undergoing additional maturation for over two years in various wine casks skilfully sourced by Master Distiller Billy Walker. This imparts a distinctive twist onto the unpeated GlenAllachie spirit.
The particular French oak barriques procured for this finish came from one of just five Premier Cru Classé chateaux located in the world-renowned wine region of Bordeaux, France. The maturation in casks which previously held such full-bodied red wine has imbibed the honeyed spirit with deep notes of black cherry and velvety espresso.
The GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Premier Cru Classe Wine Cask Finish is non chill filtered with natural colouring. It provides a refined but complex drinking experience.

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Rich Mahogany.
NOSE
Waves of butterscotch, blackcurrant and heather honey, with hints of minerality, poached orchard fruits and orange zest.
TASTE
Layers of honeycomb, black fruits and dark chocolate, followed by coffee, truffle and cinnamon, with crème de cassis and ginger on the finish.
