Glenmorangie 15 Year Old Discontinued 2007

This was one of the older bottling styles before the MacDonald family sold to LVMH in 2004. Just a few years later they had a complete brand refresh and updated the core range with new products. The 15 year old was discontinued and directly replaced with Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare.

• Nose: Bright citrus, vanilla, honeycomb, and rich oak.
• Palate: Silky texture with honey, gentle spices, and malt.
• Finish: Smooth, elegant, and warming
• Maturation: Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for 10 years, then finished for 2 years in Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
