A 50/50 combination of Pedro Ximenez sherry butts married with slightly peated spirit matured in first fill bourbon barrels. Wolfburn 458 was their seventh ‘Finished’ release, and similarly seven years old. Like all Wolfburn small-batch releases, it got its name from the maturation location, warehouse 4, row 58.

Glendronach 21 Year Old Parliament
Although, technically a highland malt, you would be forgiven for thinking that with its rich sherried character coming from its maturation in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, that Glendronach’s 21 year old was actually a Speyside.

Truly unique brand in that it is the only distillery to use a copper cooling pipe around its still. This ensures only the lightest of vapours rise up for collection. The 16 Year Old was released to complement the new core range that was released in August 2018 when the company underwent a full rebrand.
The distillery decided to make it an annual release utilising different casks to give a varying flavour profile. (NO BOX)

Part of the highly desirable Legends Collection, this Glenmorangie is named after St Duthac who is buried in the centre of Tain. Initially matured in charred virgin oak casks and finished in PX sherry. Rich and mellow, with just enough sweetness from the sherry influence, it’s best sampled with a little water to unearth the chocolate and butterscotch. This was a retail exclusive hence the 100cl size.
