Jura 12 Year Old Elixir 40%
The distillery released the 40% ABV version at the end of 2011. They followed with a non-chill filtered 46% ABV edition in early 2012, then discontinued both versions in 2018 during a core range rebranding. Distillers finished this Jura 12-year-old in a mixture of American white oak and sherry casks.
The company bottled Jura 12 Year Old Elixir to symbolise the distillery’s rebirth and community reconstruction. Each bottle showcases the ancient Celtic symbol of the beginning. Elixir features the symbol of the island’s water. Locals believe this water holds mystical, life-giving qualities.
