This 13-Year-Old expression from Glenmorangie was released in August 2021 has been given a cognac finish. It brings together Glenmorangie’s fruity single malt style with the rich, spicy depth imparted by Cognac casks.
- Color: Rustic gold.
- Nose: Aromas of apple tart and toffee, followed by forest floor, baked apples, oranges, and pears. A splash of water releases notes of butter candy, sweet pastry, and hints of mint.
- Palate: Sweet and spicy with toffee apples, baked pears, almonds, and mandarin orange. Depth is added with hints of clove, star anise, and soft leather.
- Finish: Long, satisfying, and smooth with lingering oaky spices and gentle menthol.
