Highland Park Sigurd – Warrior Series
Released in 2013, Sigurd is part of The Warrior Series, a collection of single malts created for the Travel Retail market. Each expression introduces a key figure from Orkney’s Viking history and demonstrates how cask type affects the whisky’s flavour.
Released in 2013, Sigurd was introduced as part of Highland Park’s “Warrior Series”. This collection was a line of six Non-Age-Statement (NAS) single malts crafted exclusively for the global airport duty-free market.
The series was structured so that each progressive bottle represented a step up in both cask quality and price tier:

- Einar
- Harald
- Sigurd
- Ragnavald
- Thorfinn
Named after a feared Orkneyinga Saga earl, Highland Park Sigurd showcases a sword inherited from his father and arrives in a premium wooden box
Predominantly matured in sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, Sigurd’s big and bold flavour exhibits layer upon layer of lemon peel, charred pineapple, cinnamon, lavender, and rich peat smoke.
