Glenmorangie The Tarlogan
This expression was released in April 2016 to honour the ancient Pictish King Tarlogan. He was reputed to have ruled and protected the woodland surrounding the Tarlogie Spring from which Glenmorangie draws its water. This association is reputed to have given the spring its name. The Tarlorgan is the third release in Glenmorangie’s travel retail exclusive Legends Collection, following The Duthac and The Tayne
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Creamy, sweet, and luxurious. Aromas of vanilla fudge, coconut, and butterscotch are balanced by gentle oak and malted biscuits.
- Palate: Soft and silky texture, delivering dessert-like flavors including vanilla custard, poached pears, and pineapple. It has a slight, rich nuttiness.
- Finish: Lingering, with notes of almond marzipan, white chocolate, and a touch of ginger spice.
