Through more than 15 years of maturation in American oak, Virgin American oak, and European Sherry casks, VAT 03 distinctly embodies the Glenfiddich pioneering spirit. This silky-smooth, full-bodied whisky harmoniously combines warm notes of spice with hints of nutty marzipan and dark sherry oak. It delivers a satisfyingly rich and sweet Glenfiddich for connoisseurs.
For its triple-cask maturation, the distillery ages the whisky for a minimum of 15 years in a combination of European oak sherry casks, ex-bourbon barrels, and virgin American oak casks.
Each successive VAT fill acts like a new generation of whisky building on the past. It constantly increases the spirit’s character, dimension, and complexity, giving you a unique experience with every sip.
