This Longmorn 15 year old is a an official bottling from early late 90’s/early 2000 which was discontinued in 2007. A terrific full-blooded Speysider, oozing complexity with plenty of spice, sweet fruits, heather and balanced oak interplaying with the malt. A highly-respected whisky with a loyal following. However outside whisky enthusiast circles, Longmorn is not widely known.
This 15 year old is widely recognised as being far superior to its 16 year old replacement launched in 2016.
