Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2018, this is a highly regarded Speyside malt that was matured exclusively in American White Oak casks.

Whilst Aberlour Distillery traditionally creates deep, heavily sherried whiskies, the White Oak series completely shifts the focus. Workers age this single malt entirely in American white oak bourbon casks. Consequently, this maturation process strips away the classic sherry notes. Therefore, the liquid offers a rare opportunity for tasters. Subsequently, you can taste the pure, naked fruit and malt character of Aberlour.

• Color: Bright, golden amber.
• Nose: Fresh and inviting with prominent aromas of green apples, ripe pear, and sweet citrus zest, balanced out by light, soft undertones of vanilla and honey.
• Palate: Soft, smooth, and creamy. It showcases flavours of caramelized toffee, sweet malt, and a unique touch of toasted coconut derived directly from the American oak wood.
• Finish: A long, refreshing, and highly generous finish that carries a delicate touch of lingering oak spice and sweet vanilla.
