Aberlour 10 Year Old (2007-2010) was a highly regarded Speyside malt that was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks . Originally released in the 1970’s in a cognac style bottle, and was their signature malt. It was later rebranded in the 1980’s into the more traditional shaped bottle before being discontinued completely around 2021. The 12 Year Old Double Cask replaced it as the distillery’s entry level expression.

Most of the tins that come with these bottles have the specific date of bottling on them. And with the huge increase in people looking for vintage and date related, if your lucky you might find that needle in a haystack and find that one date that is important to you.
