Knockando 1971 Vintage
The ideal gift for the whisky lover’s birthday, anniversary or special year to remember.
This official vintage bottling was distilled in 1971, and bottled in 1982.
Knockando after the Scottish Gaelic ‘Cnoc an Dhu’, lies in the heart of Speyside and means ‘little black hill’.
Knockando is quite a small distillery, producing less than 1.4 million litres yearly, with the majority of production going into blends, especially J&B. Less than 10% of production is actually sold on as single malt, its biggest markets being Spain and France. It is not particularly well known in the UK so bound to create a interest when seen by guests on your whisky shelf.
Much of Knockando’s production through the years has been as a vintage rather than an age statement, making them well sought after for age related gifts.
Size: 75cl
ABV: 43%

A lot our our bottles are pre-owned, and as such they will have some kind of normal wear and tear. We take great care to provide clear photos of each lot. Please check these carefully before buying to ensure that you are satisfied with the condition.
