Official Tasting Notes
- Colour: Warm, lustrous bronze.
- Aroma: A rich burst of manuka honey immediately fills the glass, accompanied by lemon-flavoured butter candy, warm baking raisin bread, candied orange peel, succulent peaches, sweet toffee, and a faint hint of spice. A splash of water unveils deep vanilla crème anglaise, coconut flakes, and a suggestion of sweet almond marzipan.
- Palate: The texture is wondrously thick, velvety, and mouth-coating, rippling with luscious layers of peach melba, rich vanilla pods, and cooling lemon sorbet. These notes give way to toasted coconut flakes, swirls of hot toffee sauce, and a gentle prickle of warming wood spice.
- Finish: Long, luxurious, and intensely sweet, leaving a lingering trail of creamy vanilla, brown sugar, and a soft, clean whisper of peat smoke on the back palate
