At Benromach, we hand select our casks to ensure the best quality, which imparts important and complex flavours to our whisky. The result for the 12 Years Old is a rich single malt with great depth, all while staying true to our distinctive subtly smoky character. With an ABV of 46%, you can also expect more of the whisky’s natural character, texture and flavour.

Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden
Nose: Spiced cinnamon buns and stewed raisin aromas leads to ginger and butterscotch and green apple and pear complement creamy dark honey. Underlying citrus flavours with cocoa powder and soft smoke.
Taste: Rich fruitcake leads to vibrant orange and raspberry, complemented by black pepper, charred oak and subtle smoke.
Finish: Medium bodied and spicy with lingering blackcurrant, subtle menthol and a touch of smoke.
