Glenmorangie A Tale Of The Forest was brought to life by Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden. He was inspired by the ever changing natural wonder he encountered while wandering in the forest near his home. As a result, he brought back an ancient method of kilning barley with botanicals. In this case, he chose juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers.
Number three of what was initially an expected range of six, although it is now thought that this will expand.
