Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, routinely travels the globe to find fresh inspiration for his single malts. Among his favourite destinations is Tokyo, a city defined by its gripping contradictions—where bustling streets meet tranquil gardens, and ancient traditions blend with modern culture. Fascinated by these sensory experiences, Dr. Lumsden set out to capture the very essence of Tokyo in a bottle.
The resulting release marks the fourth instalment in a celebrated experimental series. While creators initially planned a strict six-part limited range, the overwhelming success of these whiskies means Glenmorangie will likely expand the collection.
