Wolfburn Latitude is a non-age statement (NAS) single malt Scotch whisky crafted in Thurso, Caithness—the most northerly town on the Scottish mainland. Originally released in 2018 as a Travel Retail Exclusive. I uses a lightly peated malt, and is designed to showcase a balanced, lightly peated flavour profile.
Although still a young distillery, Wolfburn was first established in 1821 in Thurso, on Scotland’s far north coast.
Production ceased in 1850s, with Wolfburn’s new distillery started in 2012 very close to the old site. With production starting in 2013, their inaugural expression was released in February 2016.
They continue to make their whisky the same way it was always made: by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste. Wolfburn’s whisky is distilled, matured and bottled on-site.
