Wolfburn 128 is the first in a series of Small Batch releases from the Thurso distillery. Matured in small ex-Bourbon casks that had previously contained peated whisky, giving a delicate smokiness to the whisky. Peated to just 10ppm. Like all Wolfburn small-batch releases, it got its name from the maturation location, warehouse 1, row 28. Just 6000 bottles were produced.

The 16 Year Old was released to complement the new core range that was released in August 2018 when the company underwent a full rebrand.
The distillery decided to make it an annual release utilising different casks to give a varying flavour profile. (NO BOX)
